20 hours ECE Free
If your child is aged 3, 4 or 5 you are eligible to the 20 hours Free ECE Subsidy. Your child needs to be enrolled with our centre. You will have to decide which of the enrolled hours will be covered by the scheme. You can choose any hours your child is enrolled to attend, and you can’t have more than six hours a day, totalling 20 hours a week.
You will need to fill in an enrolment agreement, and confirm the days and hours you are claiming as 20 Hours ECE on an attestation – which is part of our centre’s enrolment agreement. The Centre Manager can help you complete the attestation form.
If your child goes to more than one ECE service, you can split the hours claimed as long as you don’t claim for more than 20 hours a week or six hours a day. You can’t claim for the same hours twice
If your child is enrolled on this subsidy please ensure that your child arrives at the booked in time (not before) and is collected no later than the booked out leaving time. If your child arrives early or leaves late the government does not provide the subsidy for the extra time
If you exceed your booked hours for 20 hours ECE you will be charged at the full hourly rate up to 6 hours then the full day rate will apply if you exceed 6 hours. If you have any questions regarding this please speak to the Centre Manager who is more than happy to answer questions you may have.
